Introduction
At Green, students continue learning the form Genesis and at Green with Purple students learn the
form Wan Jun Hyung. Green is also when students begin point sparring
(controlled, tag-style contact). Training develops control, distance, timing, application, and
reaction—while continuing self-defense, pad work, and core basics.

Tape Stripes
Tape stripes track attendance and skill. At Green belt, about every four classes, instructors review
technique and
listening. At Green with a Purple stripe, about every five classes, students are eligible to earn a
new tape stripe. Earning four stripes indicates readiness to test for the next belt.
